Our on-going Social Projects

Our Previous Projects

Support for underprivileged children

We recently had an opportunity to associate with the Malanadu Grama Vikas Society and were able to donate a computer system to the children of the Panakkachira village in Idukki district of Kerala. We are planning to take up more of these endeavors and give support to such children belonging to underprivileged families. click here to read more details about this project.

Decennial Seminar Series

As a part of our 10th year of operation, we conducted some academic seminars along the length and breadth of Kerala. Most of these seminars were backed by prominent media houses of Kerala including Malayala Manorama. We have successfully conducted many seminars in various centers of IPSR in Kerala.

e-Literacy Mission

This was one of the earliest social projects that we undertook in 2000 after the inception of IPSR. The campaign aimed to make people, especially elder people including traders who are not computer savvy, but who badly need computer literacy to cope up with the fast moving world.

IT Career Awareness Seminars

We have conducted more than 40 IT Career awareness seminars in collaboration with leading media houses in Kerala, including Malayala Manorama and Deepika. All these seminars proved to be helpful for students who opted for a bright career in IT.

As the name signifies, the programme envisioned to mould out a new set of techies, thus contributing to the nation a creative and technically sound generation. The students were engaged in the programme throughout their summer vacation and once they completed it, most of them were truly IT wizards.

Teen Cyber Camp

This was one of the initial initiatives taken by IPSR for school students to create awareness about the growing importance of IT in an individual’s life. As a part of this school students were given IT training as a vacation course.
